precious moment

hello there, it's me farahzaki.. lol who else would it be?
you know suddenly I feel like I need to write about this precious moment when I was in standard 5.
it was Ramadan.. and it was about 1 week before Eid. I still remember this precious moment that I'll never forget.. I had a classmate who is known as Syafika Hazami (I don't know if I spell her name correctly but that's how we pronounce it). She had this 'Kad Raya' which she bought so that she could give them to her friends. normally we gave Kad Raya to the closest friends that we had. Shafika had this 3 Kad Raya on her table and I don't know why I'm watching her while she stares at those beautiful kad raya. suddenly, I saw one of those kad raya of her's that really really attract me because it is so beautiful and I could even imagine what I'm going to do if I had one of those. the design itself is very rare and it's not like those cartoon or ketupat thingy design. it's just different from other kad raya that I have ever seen in my entire life and the next thing that I do is I said to her while I point at the beautiful kad raya "eh eh, cantiknya kad raya yang tu. mesti kawan baik ko suka kalau dapat yang tu". then Shafika said to me "yang ni paling cantik ke antara tiga-tiga ni?" then without any delay, I nod and said "a ah yang ni yang paling cantik." then she just smile at me and of course I smile at her back. like hey what do you expect? I was a sweetheart tau dulu.. not like now. I had a boyish character after puberty. luckily I wear hijab. hahaha.. it's just my character that change. ok back to the topic. then before we started our holiday for celebrating Raya/Eid, I saw Shafika gave her kad raya to her bestfriends. obviously I was not one of her bestfriend. in fact I don't really have one during standard 5 since I just moved from my old school so I don't really know my classmates that well. Suddenly, guess what? the next thing I know is that Shafika makes her move towards me and she hand this kad raya to me and when I opened the envelope, I saw the beautiful kad raya that I really really like from the first moment I saw it on her desk and the best feeling is that she gave it to me! I am very touched of it. I said thank you towards her thousands of time. She just smile at me. and she looks very happy because she knows that I like that kad raya very much. it's just one of the precious moment of my childhood memories..that precious moment had taught me that sometimes, a small act of kindness can bring the best in a person's memories. thank you so much Shafika Hazami.
